DBR was requested for the execution of a reliable emergency-power solution for a renowned data center.
In close cooperation with the customer, DBR took the role of the system integrator.
DBR did the engineering, packaging, testing, delivery and installation of a high-end emergency data center power solution in a short time frame.
The scope consists of two E-houses (complete with switchgear, 2.5MWe transformers, 2x 1500kWe UPSes, cooling system and firefighting), two BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) containers and two back-up generator sets for a total power of about 5 Mwe.
The Grid Power comes from two feeds, divided in Feed A and B. The two BESS containers are serving the standby power for both feeds, including the two E-houses with integrated UPS systems, and two containerized Diesel generator Sets as DCC Power.
The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) was successfully executed at DBR, location Papendrecht.
Feed A has already been transported and installed onsite.
